Feb. 17 (Wednesday) – Regular Cub meeting at the Hall.

Parents, please have your Cub(s) bring the following:

Old telephone book

Grubby shirt as we are painting with teeth and toes

 

Feb. 24 (Wednesday) – Baden Powell banquet at the Scout Hall.

- 6pm – 8pm at the hall

 

Feb. 27 (Saturday) – Cub Paralympic Rally 2010

- Disability Awareness and the Olympics

- Starts at 9:30am – Finishes at 3:15pm

- Cost $7.50 per Cub – which includes the event, snack and a

campfire blanket badge.

Mar. 3 (Wednesday) – Fun swim at Oak Bay Rec from 6:30 – 8:00pm

- All cubs to meet at Oak Bay Rec at 6:30pm

- Cost of swim to be covered by the group.

- Please have cub(s) bring a quarter or 2 for the lockers

- If there are any concerns about swimming please talk to a leader.

 

Mar. 6 (Saturday) – Kub Kar Rally

When: March 6th 10am – 1:30pm

Where: CFB Naden Drill Hall

Your cost: $5.00. The total cost of the event is $9.00 per

youth.

Due to the financial contributions of the Province of British Columbia and

all 1st Cedar Hill’s fund raising efforts,1st Cedar Hill is able to subsidize the

remaining cost.

 

Mar. 10 (Wednesday) – Spring Break – NO CUB MEETING!!!

 

Mar. 17 (Wednesday) – Regular Cub meeting at the Hall

- Mt Washington Camp preparation night

- Talk on hypothermia

- Fire prevention discussions

 

Mar. 19, 20, 21 – (Fri, Sat, Sun) Winter Camp at Camp Gilwell

This is a weekend camp up in Courtenay. On Friday afternoon

we will drive up to Camp Gilwell.

On Saturday morning we will drive up to Mt Washington for

snow shoeing in the morning and Tubing in the afternoon.

Your cost is $40.25 per youth. This includes a 2 hour guided

snow shoeing tour and the tubing.

We will require volunteers for driving and cooking for this

camp. If you can help out please contact one of the leaders.
